Who is GWV Summer 2026 for?

High school aged girls, 13 to 18, is our core audience. We keep a little flex on both sides: a mature 11 or 12-year-old is welcome, and we hold seats for opportunity-aged young women up to 21. US, UK, Ireland, Canada, continental Europe, Australia, or New Zealand. No coding experience required. If unsure, email info@aidedeq.org.

What does it cost?

Sliding scale $0 to $599 per girl. $0 is the default with no questions asked. Sponsors fund full seats at $599 so the program stays sustainable.

Is camera-on required?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Camera-on is mandatory during live sessions. It is the single biggest driver of connection and safety in an online cohort. Recordings are opt-in only and never shared publicly.

Question 4

How many hours per week?

Accepted Answer

Two hours per session, twice a week, for six weeks. Twelve sessions and 24 live contact hours total.

When do the cohorts run?

June 8 through July 19, 2026. Three schedules to choose from, all running concurrently. Weekend Build runs through July 26 and skips the July 4 US holiday weekend.

What will my girl walk away with?

A real, shipped app at a URL she can share. Fluency with Claude, Gemini, Codex, Lovable, NotebookLM, Canva, and Netlify. A portfolio moment, a peer cohort, and a reflective practice for how she handles feedback and change.
